Regent's Park
The Regent’s Park is one of the royal parks.
All photos of it dated 2015-2016 are the actual ones and were taken with iPhone 5s.
Like with many others, the grounds were appropriated by Henry VIII through the Dissolution of the Monasteries. Commissioned by King George IV, the Regent’s Park was designed by John Nash in the early 19th century.
Distinctively, the park has an outer ring road which is surrounded by beautiful white stucco terrace houses with the Regent’s canal running in the northern part of the park. Whilst the smaller Inner Circle surrounds Queen Mary’s Garden, completed in 1934, that comprises more than 12,000 roses of 400 varieties.

Regent’s Park is notable also for hosting the London Zoo, Open Air Theatre and a number of educational establishments.
There is a sports centre, as well as a lake where it is possible to hire boats and pedalos from April to September.
